We had a chance to catch Trivium recently in Houston, TX. I have loved this band for a long time for many reasons.

First Trivium does what Trivium likes. They do not bend to critics or the popular wave but play the music that they believe in. Secondly their brand of thrash reminds me of some of the greatest bands around.

As always the band delivered a wicked ten song set blasting off with "Waves" and causing quite a bit of whiplash all the way thru "Throes". It was simply a great set.

The band was also supporting their new look wit shorter hair and polish. I have not always been a fan of this but as I said Trivium does as Trivium likes so I have to respect it.

If you get a chance this is a great choice for those short concert dollars. You will get your moneys worth and will leave with a soar neck!
