Well Folks, the fire is back in Ole Skip’s bones and it all started with a “CLICK, CLICK, BOOM !”
I went down to THE VALARIUM in our beloved mountain valley town of Knoxville, “on a lark” to see what I could see at the SALIVA show.

Even though I had been lax about my request for access, our friends at AC ENTERTAINMENT hooked us up, last minute, and provided the space needed for Skip to do his thing. The crowd was packed with Betties and Billies alike and they were all there to have a good time; MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. The opening acts AMERICAN PLAGUE and ADELAIDE’S WAY were a fine example to behold in their own right(s).

Check them out when ya get a chance. As I said before, after being blessed with the friendship of AC ENTERTAINMENT and THE VALARIUM, I stepped into “The Pipeline” (behind the barricade) and opened fire and so did the band. Skull smashing sound and an awesome stage presence combined for a riling set.

What a beautiful feeling it is to stand in the breach between my 2 favorite forces; The BANDS and the FANS. SALIVA kicked ass with 2 of their best known pieces, including “CLICK, CLICK, BOOM “ and then blew us away with a follow-up track from their NEW ALBUM......CINCO DIABLO.

If you haven’t seen this band live; YOU MUST!!!! A note for bands that need to improve “image”; this is a great bunch to observe. It is a raging show from great musicians that are good to their fans and provide quality entertainment. WORTH THE SCRATCH !!!! We’d like to thank SALIVA and our friends at AC and the VALARIUM for making Father’s Day AWESOME this year.
Skip

P.S.
We’d like to thank those BETTIES too ;o)
