Molly Hatchet

Now this harkens back to a time when we were YOUNG and into whatever edge existed. This band came blowin' out of the shute with some NEW SOUTHERN ROCK sounds that were as infectious as any riffs before or since.

Flirting with Disaster stuck in our heads as did most every track on their signature Album. It was like Skynyrd "on steroids" in a way (to borrow a line from Rob Traynor of Machinehead).

Everything from the hard driving, searing, rock riffs to the artwork on the cover of this band's first album, was to an extreme edge for the time. We feel so blessed to have these shots (via NASTYDOGPHOTO.COM) from their latest touring efforts to present to YOU !

We know that some, maybe many of you, were perhaps not even on earth at the time, but we wanted to show some of the roots from which we sprang and share some of the greatness we still see in this group.

They are GOOD HEARTED people and are very proactive in causes, in particular, the cause of a Florida Family in anguish. Check out their site and CRANK UP SOME HATCHET !!!! Y'ALL :o)
