Tale of the Stage:

Misfits

The Misfits

What a great night. THE MISFITS played at "Our favorite venue" THE VALARIUM. The show was awesome and as always, over these many years, deafening. The stage show, the set, the music, and the fans were all part of a quality experience, dulled only intermitently by a couple of inner-bred boys that I shall address at length later.

The show opened with a great Rock band by the name of "AMERICAN PLAGUE". They are local, at this point, which made covering their music all the more enjoyable. After they warmed the crowd very well, MISFITS took the stage and showered the crowd with many of their hardcore punk tunes, both new and old.

It's funny, I expected to have a slight revulsion at the absence of the former lead singer, (who shall remain anonymous for these purposes) but I was pleasently and "headbangingly" surprised. The show carried all of it's old glory and a little bit more "tough" to it. I can't help it; ever since I saw the video of "The un-named former lead singer" get knocked out like a bitch, I just lost all respect.

If you get the chance to catch the MISFITS on this tour, the show is WELL worth the money.
