Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper

Not to show my age but I think it was the late 70's when I first obtained a copy of "Welcome To My Nightmare" by Alice Cooper. I have been hooked on his twisted toons since.

So when we got a chance to catch him with Rob Zombie on the Gruesome Twosome tour we were ecstatic.

After all these years Alice hit the stage with the grandeur and showmanship of a Veteran.

Opening the show with the classic "Schools Out" with the bang and pizzazz of what has made him legendary, Alice took everyone's attention very quickly.

The music was as good as the early years and the theatrical show was amazing. With the reemergence of the famous Guillotine and the Gallows the show was literally and figuratively wicked.

Alice was simply as always captivating. His since of and feeling of the music along with his dedication to theatrics has always been second to none.

There are a lot of bands out there that could learn many lessons on entertainment from him in fact.

So take it from me go see Alice Cooper and see how the roots of modern music took hold. I think you will find that there is a place in the sacred pyre for Mr. Cooper
